The Integrated Development Initiatives Development organization was established by some enthusiastic like minded young volunteers in 1995 with a vision for economic empowerment of the disadvantaged community peoples who are socially and economically discriminated and neglected in the society. The IDI is a word of working on development together. IDI is a non-profit, non-sectarian, non government voluntary development organization. The organization strongly believes that people are resourceful and can tape resources if they are empowered that is, empower to think, empower to articulate and empower to organize and through empowering, they will be able to come out of the vicious cycle of poverty and underdevelopment.
